I took my dad here for a belated Father's Day & we both loved it! Pho only menu! With several drinks & desserts to choose from. The service here is friendly & super fast! Rare Steak Pho: Generously portion of meat & noodles. Delicious! They have dining inside or out. They have a few marked parking spots but other than that, it is mainly residential parking.

Been coming back to this gem whenever we are back in San Diego. Food 10/10: Pho with all mixed in and large bowl has always been our choice. Rich broth, tender raw beef with all the fresh aromatics really great anytime of the day. I always squeezed in 3-4 lime wedges. Drink 9/10: Love their ice coffee, Vietnamese drip espresso over condensed milk and ice. Wakes me up for the day for sure. Service: 7/10 Ambiance: 6/10 Value: 10/10

Best. Pho. Ever... in SD. This pho spot is our go to spot for breakfast... they open at 7AM so you know it's legit. We always get the classic #1 with a side of bread! The bread is a must!!! Dip it in the broth and it just hits the spot!!! We also get a side of the chili oil and your next must try: OIL WITH GREEN ONIONS!!! The food is delicious and worth coming back to. The service isn't really top notch. The servers give 0 fawks. Like, its your fault and it's such a bother to them for wanting more water LOL. Overall, would ultimately still come back. No questions asked and I recommend this spot to almost every other person I meet.

BEST PHO PLACE IN SD! Never thought to write a review for Pho Hoa because I've been coming here since I was a baby. No other pho place compares to Pho Hoa. The amount of meat and veggies they give is generous. The soup hits every time I have it and I don't add any sauces to it for flavor. They usually take your order right as you get the menu because everyone that comes in already knows what they want as the menu is fairly simple. Best drinks to get here are the Thai tea and Vietnamese coffee. I would say to not order anything else besides the pho as this is their specialty, but there are better dishes out in the City Heights area that you can order else where besides the pho.

This place is my go-to pho spot. When we dine-in, the staff has super fast, no-BS service, which I like because they get food out quick. they transformed their parking lot into outdoor seating so parking can be hard to find. Recently, we called in an order to-go. We got 2 large bowls of pho with rare steak and brisket, and a thai iced tea with boba. The portions were perfect, and the soup was still hot enough to cook the beef when we got home to eat. I love their pho broth and it is flavorful on its own, but of course gets better after adding it in with the meat and all the toppings. They provided a bag with the mint leaves, bean sprouts, lime and other toppings. Super generous, we had extras of everything. They also have sauce cups with hoisin and sriracha in that bag. The thai tea was nice and sweet, but the boba was just okay as it was not flavorful.
